Prerequisite – Experience with Joomla
Current Situation:
The Dioscouri SYNK Component provides for the ability for a local Joomla website database to to be synchronized to a remote Joomla database. The component performs a direct synchronization without any target field analysis.
Problem:
When multiple Joomla instances (Example: Sites A. B and C) are synchronized to one main site (Example: Site Z), if users should register with the same username on all 3 sites, the main site user database would be corrupted, because the plugin does not perform validity checking on the target fields.
Explanation:
A free plugin exists that performs username validity checking before registration or login.
It is called “Joomla User Management with AJAX”

Modify the existing plugin “Joomla User Management with AJAX” to perform validity checking on a remote Joomla install
as well as the original local install.
